Dr. Anissa Boumlic-Courtade holds a PhD from the University of Strasbourg (France) and Thessaly (Greece) and a Biotechnology engineering degree (MSc). She also graduated from the European Doctoral College of Strasbourg, after a 4 years training program and has various certificates in Bioprocessing, Project management, business and innovation management. Anissa has 5 years virology research experience at the Hellenic Pasteur Institute and CNRS in France and 9 years’ experience at Merck in process development & technology management focusing on viral safety, purification, single use technologies and vaccine & viral vectors processes.
Anissa is currently Associate Director of EMEA vaccine and viral therapies segment development at Merck Life Sciences, Process Solutions.
Dr Anissa Boumlic-Courtade Anissa was recently elected a board member of AVMI during the 2018 annual general meeting in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
