Charlie is a Scientist/Attorney with passion for Intellectual Property (“IP”) and the implementation of the associated rights particularly for start-up companies.
He has worked in various industries, including mining, pharmaceutical, Agri-bioprocessing, Litigation eDiscovery and He recently assisted an electric engineering client in filing a patent of an electric self-generating unit.
His areas of competence include evaluation of inventions, preparation of patent applications for local and international filing, freedom-to-operate, general IP transactional guidance, and IP due diligence evaluations. His expertise includes offering companies’ strategic guidance on brand creation, protection, management, and enforcement, with a focus on giving clients information that is both useful and financially relevant.
His expertise includes inventions assessment, preparation of patent applications locally and abroad, performance of freedom-to-operate assessments, general IP commercial transactional advice and IP due diligence assessments. His experience extends to providing clients with strategic advice on brand development, protection, maintenance and enforcement, focusing on providing clients with practical, commercially focused advice.
