Farrah Losper is the Chief Commercial Officer at Biovac, an African based vaccine and biotechnology company, where she has been instrumental in driving the company's commercial strategy since 2022. With a robust background in finance, strategy, and commercial operations, Farrah has cultivated deep relationships within the pharmaceutical industry both locally and globally.

Farrah holds a Bachelor of Business Science degree from the University of Cape Town and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2007 after completing her articles at Deloitte. She spent six years at KPMG, leading audits for various listed clients. Farrah then joined Cipla, where she held several executive level roles over an eight-year period, including Finance, Strategy and Commercial roles.

In addition to her role at Biovac, Farrah serves as the Board Chair for the African Vaccine Manufacturing Initiative (AVMI). She is passionate about enhancing vaccine manufacturing capabilities in Africa and has been a vocal advocate for sustainable and innovative manufacturing practices on the continent. Farrah's leadership in the AVMI’s Market Shaping Working Group has been pivotal in shaping global and African policies and strategies to improve vaccine accessibility and affordability, and particularly in positioning Africa as a biotech investment destination.
